Our programmes

Four programmes that carry a child from the street, through care, back to family, school and community.

Programme 01

Residential Care

Offers residential accommodation for children in need of care and protection for a period of six months per child. Within the programme, children are provided:

  • Nutritious meals
  • Clothing and bedding
  • Medical support
  • School going support and uniform
  • Counseling (clinical and education)
  • Behavior modification support
  • Access to sport and recreation programme
  • Life skills education

Programme 02

Re-unification Programme

This programme facilitates the re-integration of children living and working on the streets with their families and society. It is also targeted to all children in the residential care

Programme 03

Outreach Programme / Early Intervention Programme

This programme is aimed at reaching out and engaging communities and children about various issues affecting children like:

  • Child Abuse
  • Domestic Violence
  • Children’s Rights
  • Child Trafficking
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Parenting
  • Sport
  • Street-work

Programme 04

Aftercare Programme

This programme is targeted to orphans and vulnerable children outside the residential care and it includes:

  • provision of school going support
  • provision of medical support
  • Family education
  • Provision of other basic child necessities
  • Life skills program
